Maplin 8 way MIDI "THRU" box

The following scans are taken from "Electronics -the Maplin magazine" 
issue 34 (Oct.-Nov. 1989) and describes how to build an 8 way MIDI THRU 
box.

The circuit boards could be bought from Maplin (http://www.maplin.co.uk) 
at the time, but I'm not sure if they're available any longer.
Luckily the PCB layout is shown in the magazine, and I've scanned it 
here at 300 DPI grayscale as well as spending some time touching it up.
Hopefully it'll be usable for making a usable circuit board.

The other scans are 100 DPI grayscale and should be well readable on 
your computer.
In addition I've scanned the component placement illustration and the 
circuit schematics at a higher resolution and re-written some of the 
components as they came out too dark in the scan, so there should 
be no reason for any misplaced components!
